New England Fall Foliage - available in Jacksonville!  From ground covers to trees, gorgeous colors can be found in your very own garden. The time to plant to see the colors is early fall, but planting can be done year 'round. 

GROUND COVERS continue in their popularity to replace the water-dependent,  pesticide-dependent, money-wasting St. Augustine grass. An acre of lawn can use 12,000 gallons per week.  An acre of native landscaping can save more than 1/2 million gallons of water per year.  
Historic Five Points in Jacksonville has yellow flowering perennial peanut ($6 per 1 gal) in bloom this summer, a drought tolerant ground cover that tolerates foot traffic, mowing and full sun!
